Importance of Patterns

It's not new to me that patterns of behavior are important. It's been reinforce though after a rough round of illness compounded by added  stress at work spilling over to home life creating a big pattern disrupt and it's been spelled out clearly for me to see that the pattern has been powerful for helping me stay the course and accomplish a great deal. Unfortunately, the combination of pattern disruptors that I've hit has made it more challenging than I would have expected to get back into a routine (which has been going better than posts here would indicate). I've been getting back into the routine slowly, but still missing some things almost everyday. I may get my mini workout, but miss scripture listening while unloading the dishwasher, or listen to scripture but miss a little workout, or not read at bed time. One thing is for sure, time to share it one way the other in this format has been sparse (time is technically the same, but other things have taken priority like sleep).

This morning I managed to get my alarm moved up 12 minutes or so to give myself just a little more time. I got through my pull ups and realized I had left my device for listening to scripture elsewhere, so I unloaded the dishwasher without scripture.
