Thoughts on light and becoming one

I had a lesson in Sunday School recently discussing section 88 and then later 93 of the Doctrine and Covenants which spoke about light and I felt some "aha" moments from the spirit teaching me some things. I still need to do a lot of work to study this out in greater detail, narrow it down into more focused points that can be shared clearly and so on. I wanted to briefly go over the over-arching concept which is that God is light and light cleaves to light - think of lights in a room: if close enough and bright enough the light is simply joined as light, you are in a lit room or room full of light, not separate light areas. This has implications for the Oneness of God and all of those who would be one with God. As we are filled with light and cleave to light our light joins His light and we share in each other's glory.
