Accountability
These tiny habits are a powerful way to go. I am more and more identifying as an active disciple of Christ as I continue to reinforce this through my actions. Daily prayers from my knees morning and night, scripture study morning and night, little exercise bursts daily - it's going well. That's not to say I'm perfect in following everything I set out to do. For instance, I'm aiming to get to bed earlier and often don't - I think I need to specify a time to clean earlier up for one thing as the detail matters and will help me know when I'm on target or not.
Push-ups today 20,20, 18 20-second rest. Static, but I think showcasing the importance of rest in recovery, as I wasn't at my best Sunday and slept so poorly that night. I did get around eight-hours last night, but that won't have made up the half-night of lost sleep the night prior yet.
Study thoughts
Last night I was intrigued by the idea that was put forth in a Youtube video that I watched that among some Native American tribes there is allegedly a claim to know of a battle where the pale-skinned brothers were driven to a hill in modern-day New York and killed and that they were led by a powerful chief named Mormon. I'd be fascinated to verify such a story. Further, the Cheyenne are said to believe they they had ancestors who hid up a record there that would come forth at a later date. I found this all quite interesting and spoke it over with my wife. I thought it odd seeming that there would be any knowledge of the record being hidden there by Native Americans before the Angel Moroni showed it to Joseph, but as I was listening to the account in Mormon this morning I was hearing about how Mormon hid up record in the hill and that a number of Nephites defected and a few fled to the South to avoid destruction. So it could well fit that some of these defectors knew that Mormon had records which were hid and could have mingled in with Lamanites to survive passing down these stories.

That is so very interesting. Please send YouTube address soon. I always thought Mormon buried those records privately but having the additional witnesses is a good thing. I can imagine treasure seekers looking for the records but divine protection was in place.
I would have always thought that Mormon hid up his vault of records alone, and he may well have. Some sources speak of him having a vault with enough volumes to fill up wagons full that he used in the abridgement process and a deposit that size may well have required help from his men in moving and creating a room inside the hill to keep safe. Whether he did it alone or with the help of some, it's very possible that the fact he had records was not entirely secret and that by deduction it was determined they must have been hidden in the hill.
