Taking it easy

Last night was one of those nights where I just couldn't wait for bed time as I'd been fighting a bug that was trying to get a hold of me and had a headache while overtired. Ultimately, I ended up going to sleep at nine which was great, but was awoken again at 11:00 which was not great. I've had a lifelong struggle with getting back to sleep after being awakened in the night and this led to me getting five-hours of sleep at the most by the time I had to be up for work. By the tender mercy of the Lord, despite this my head congestion has not progressed and I may yet avoid becoming knocked out with a full-on illness. With this back-drop in place I only did one set of eight pull-ups this morning and that's got it. I did notice that my kneeling prayer kicked in right after making my side of the bed as planned, so it's nice to see that connecting habits is working. I have no time for sharing more this morning.

Be strong!

Connecting habits, Yes, I find this is helpful. Push-ups and prayers. For almost two years my wife and I had celery juice with lemons mixed in. One doctor asked if we did that every day. I said, “Yes Push-ups, Prayers, and Celery Juice, it’s a ritual.” Celery Juice became quite expensive so we switched to carrot, avocado, apple, and lemon juice and then things got disrupted for awhile. Good habits are so easy to break. 630 push-ups from the knees today (micro workouts).
