This morning I had three sets of twenty push-ups to work through with thirty-five second rest intervals. The final set was quite challenging, but I made it through.
Ponderings
As I listened to scripture this morning during the time of Giddianhi, the robber, and Lachoneus the Chief Judge over the Nephites I felt that the phrase given to the Nephites in preparation for the robbers to come upon them was one we could learn from today:
"except ye repent of all your iniquities, and cry unto the lord, ye will in nowise be delivered out of the hands of those Gadianton robbers."
It strikes me today that we are under attack all around by Gadianton robbers that the Book of Mormon writers warned our time not to let get above us, and yet they are deeply seated throughout governments and big business the world over. Unless we learn to come unto the lord and let him be our guide we will in nowise be delivered from their wicked and greedy designs.
