This morning saw me doing three sets of twenty-five squats with only thirty seconds of rest between sets. They were still body-weight squats and the rest time is working its way down before the load goes up with the rest time returning to a higher amount as well. These feel great. They are enough of a challenge to leave me feeling it and leave me winded when I complete the final set, but not so bad that I struggle to get them down and have form break down.
In my family scripture study I was reading to my girls last night from 1 Nephi 20 and asked them if they noticed that things sounded a bit different than Nephi usually does. They did detect a different tone and I pointed out to them that's because Nephi is quoting Isaiah. I know Isaiah can be hard to take for many. I've not typically found this to be the case so much, but realize that there is much to Isaiah's prophecy that I am not getting the full power of. I'm actually enrolled in an Isaiah study course starting later this year that will take about two years going through Isaiah together as a group. I'm excited for what I am going to learn.
