Making it work with too little sleep

Last night was one of those nights where my wife needed to talk to me and kept bringing things up and I just needed to sleep and finally was free to get to sleep around 1:00 am. I had some various issues awaken me in the night and I couldn't get back to sleep from around 2:30 to 4:00 am. When my alarm went around 7:00 I just knew I was in trouble and better try for some sleep. I moved the alarm to give me another 30 minutes knowing this would cramp my preparation time for work and scripture study and exercise. I still managed to get through three sets of twenty repetitions of push-ups with thirty-five seconds between sets. In the third set I needed a quick stretch back around the sixteenth rep to allow me to get to nineteen and I needed a more full break for a second to allow me to force out the twentieth. I had ended up reading some bible verses in the night to help take my mind off other things so I could return to sleep.
