Still doing pretty well at rebuilding myself into a stronger servant of the Lord. I'm half way through my leg workout for the day, resting a little before hitting the other leg. Morning prayers were a success kneeling at my bedside. I deviated a touch from personal scripture study last night to read material on teaching more effectively as the Savior taught/teaches. I still read a chapter with my family and listened to scripture and felt this was a reasonable adjustment for the night.
This morning listening to Mosiah 2, the phrase, "he never doth vary from that which he hath said" stood out to me. I figure it just carries a little more weight spelled out this way than simple reference to honesty - it encompasses perfect commitment to promises made and one that we can put faith in unreservedly. As one trying to be like my Savior and His father, this is a great reminder to be a man of my word.
Be strong!

True at all times. Those young boys who fought under the leadership of Helaman were true at all times. Not only that they were given to much activity. They were spiritually fit and physically fit. That seems like a noble pursuit to be like them. They obeyed every word of command with exactness. Reading your pondering reminded me of the soldiers who fought all day and repaired the fortress all night. They were determined to conquer in this place or die. They were men of honour. I have just listened to Alma chapter five two times this morning. That is such a thought provoking chapter. If I was called to die at this time could I say I had been sufficiently humble or kind or honest?
