While listening to 3rd Nephi chapter seven this morning I came across this little gem. At this time the people had again turned to wickedness and hardened there hearts against those preaching the gospel. Even so, they were angry with Nephi because he had greater power than they did as he taught with such power, being ministered to by angels daily, that the people could not disbelieve his words. Even so , only a few were converted unto the lord and the others went on in wickedness, apparently fully in belief that they were choosing not to follow god.
I don't know know about the rest of you, but I don't have angelic visitation daily. I would love to have the strength of faith necessary to be blessed in a similar manner. It is my hope that as I continue to work on shaping my identity as a disciple of Christ with greater consistency leading on to greater fervor and power that I will one day have such faith.

I had pull-ups to do today and I tried reducing my rest periods down a rung by going from forty-five to forty seconds. It worked out fine. I completed the sets as well as I have done with forty-five second rest intervals, so I feel like I'm finally seeing some progress there that is beyond merely progress with being consistent.
I'd love to hear in the comments how you are doing.

Thanks, I know it’s possible to be visited by angels. Sometimes I think angels in human form have come along to help our family. The Alabama song Angels Among Us comes to mind. I will revisit this it’s got me thinking. I’d like to be like Nephi as well but the words of my friend, Woody, come to mind, “I’d lift weights too, but they’re heavy.” Just doing five hundred push-ups a day from the knees but it’s a start. Another thought, the Apostle Paul taught that we should help beggars because sometimes they are “angels unawares” or that’s the rough idea at least.
I expect you are correct. The Lord wasn't recognized at first on the road to Emmaus or at several other points. I'm sure we rub shoulders with angels more often than we realize. My hope is that with time I can develop eyes to see and ears to hear
